Spiced Pumpkin Butter

1 can (29 oz) solid pack pumpkin
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup honey
2-1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice




Whisk all ingredients together in a saucepan until well combined. Bring to a simmer; reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes or until mixture is thick enough to hold its shape on a spoon. Stir more often as mixture thickens to prevent scorching. Pour into sterilized jars and seal, process for 10 minutes.

Makes about 6 half pint jars.

Recipe is easily doubled.
