Irish Cheddar Soda Bread

INGREDIENTS


4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup grated Irish cheddar cheese
1 cup Simply Potatoes Traditional Mashed Potatoes
1 cup buttermilk
Butter, for greasing the pan

 

 

DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a 9x5-inch loaf pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Add the cheddar cheese, mashed potatoes, and buttermilk. Mix until a soft dough is formed. Form into a loaf and place inside the loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour, until golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing.
