4 cups chopped nuts (pecan only or mix of pecan, walnut & almonds)
2-3 slices of pineapple cut into tidbit size pieces
1/2 pound chopped dates
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 medium bottle of cherries, cut in half
Mix eggs & sugar together.
Mix nuts, pineapple, dates & cherries together.
Mix flour & baking powder together.
Combine egg/sugar mixture and flour/baking powder mixture together to make the cake batter.
Pour cake batter over the nut, pineapple, date & cherries mixture & stir well. You'll have a light cake batter coating over these ingredients.
Lightly grease a tube pan and line with waxed paper.
Bake at 325° F for 1 hour or more until lightly browned (Start checking at about 45-50 minutes).
